A letter in the file of Fort Pierce resident Latreasa L. Goodman. If you don't know her name, maybe you recognize why she is now famous.
She is the woman who called 911 to report that the McDonald's would not give her a refund after notifying her they were out of her favorite snack Chicken McNuggets. The dispatchers dismissed her, assuming it was a kind of prank or misunderstanding.
SHE CALLED
BACK...TWICE!Both times she explains that she wants a police officer to respond to demand her money back.
They responded alright and cited her for malicious use of the 911 system.
Too many folks think 911 is a catch all for their personal issues. This is just ridiculous. Try really hard not to laugh.
Ms Goodman, this letter in your file is for poor judgment. If it was up to me I would require you to not only learn what 911 is for, but sit in the dispatch center for a week answering calls.
