the Happy Medic is a collection of thoughts, experiences, opinions and ideas collected over my career and that of my associates. I have worked in almost every capacity the current American EMS system supports and I share my experiences from those years. This blog speaks of patient encounters as teaching aids and always respects the privacy of everyone except me. Minor details removed or switched make it safe under the law and besides, you can't make this stuff up. I'm not that creative.
You want to drive with me? You drive my hours, you listen to my tapes and you buy your own beer.

Battalion Chief McQueen. End of story.
Positive public image

Why does the public assume we're dysfunctional?
At least we wear our hoods and pants.
Tom has the solution
Die you piece of crap, Die! Die!
