Indianapolis Colts Quarterback Andrew Luck suddenly retired right before the start of the season to the surprise of his fans, teammates and coaches. His reasons for leaving mainly focus on the physical dangers of modern American Football (Luck has had season ending shoulder and internal injuries in addition to multiple concussions). He is retiring at the ripe old age of 29 with only 12 years of Football experience. A recent Sports Illustrated article has details about Luck and his situation.
