Bridget Red Ale

First was Saffron, then Yolanda, now Bridget Red Ale completes the 3 known aliases of Malcolm's mystery bride.

All 3 have been the same More Beer American Red Ale extract kit and very similar in flavor.

Some years back I did a few batches. Came up with a nice wheat dunkel. I'll have to see if I've still got the recipe somewhere. Short version was I added a smidge of Black Patent malt to the mix. Can't remember the hops at the moment wanna say Tettanger and Hallertauer.

Was amazing stuff.
Black as midnight but really light on the tongue with some nice clove notes.

Never knew you were a Browncoat. Did a bit of a double take when I saw the intro to your post.
